Why SPYKK? What's Different?

SPYKK is a social media, a notice board, a team communicator and a file sharing platform, rolled into one. It is a totally free to use app which any individual or entity around the globe can use, to best suit their purpose.

What makes us different?

We do not allow our platform to be used to spread hatred, propaganda, porn, fake news and other immoral or illegal content.

And how do we make sure of this?

It's quite simple – we verify the identity of each and every public board (page) creator before they are published on the platform. We neither monitor any content nor do we pass judgements; we just make sure that all the public content available on SPYKK is mapped to genuine and real content creators. There could be different opinions and viewpoints but there will never be unreal content creators hidden behind fake ids or phone numbers.

Note: Details about how to get a board verified is explained in the option named "REQUEST VERIFICATION", placed on the side drawer inside the app.

Find your favourite board

Search for the board you have in mind (for example: your kid’s school, your local police department, your local corporation, your friend’s blog etc) through our application and in all possibility, you will find it. If not, let us know through the feedback section and we will help you open one.

Start Following

Once you have found the board, and if it is a public board, you can start following it right away; if it is a private/closed board, you can send a request to the respective admin to join it.

Get notices in your phone

Once you start following the boards of your choice, you will start receiving all the notices being posted on those boards.

Start discussion

If a notice or post warrants a discussion from the respective board admin’s point of view, he/she will open a discussion board for that particular post wherein you can comment/discuss. On the other hand, if you are an admin or moderator of any board, you get the right to open discussion boards.

Create new boards

You can create unlimited free boards through the SPYKK app to suit your purpose. It could be personal, private, public, promotional, official, blogging and more. You can also assign moderators to help you manage these boards.

Create post

You can create unlimited number of posts and post them on the boards which you administer or are the moderator of. These posts can also include word/pdf documents, as well as pictures.

Set reminders for important notices

You also get to set reminders for posts which need date or timeline info.

Drag and drop documents

You can drag and drop documents or images directly from your computer to the “upload files” section of this website and we will generate a QR code for you in split seconds. The same QR code can be scanned through the SPYKK app on your mobile and these documents/images gets attached to the post of your choice.

If you find posts which you feel should be shared on other social media platforms as well, you can do so using our app.

When he was faced with a lacuna in the social digital space, he chose to do something about it rather than crib about it over a dinner with friends. He gave up his job, started his research and simultaneously put together a team highly motivated citizens; and together they created SPYKK, an unique platform in the digital space - a responsible e-media.

He could stick posters for SPYKK MAD Labs with the same energy and passion with which he sits down to brainstorm. Now you know why he is called the goal keeper – anything which we miss defending, safely lands in his hands. His favourite pastimes are documentaries about food, researching about food, rating restaurants, finding recipes – in short, FOOD ! . For those of you who still couldn't figure out what MAD means, it's Mobile Application Development!

From raising funds to fire-fighting, she makes sure that every penny runs that extra mile. Her favourite pastimes include dogs, dog movies, dog food, dog spa, dog stories and making us watch dog movies for motivation (to put up with which, we watch other motivational movies).

As the photo suggests, he handles the pillar on which SPYKK stands - the back-end. With 12 plus years of experience around codes, his precision and speed in cutting through threats has earned him the nick "surgeon". His favourite pastimes include C, Python, Perl , Tinkle , Calvin and Hobbes and Pokemon.

Amar exists! That's all what we know. He loves nature, travelling and codes. Unlike others, who travel on vacations after work, Amar codes while he travels - for he is forever on the go. If some of the codes were written from the foothills of Himalayas, the others were scripted from some remote farm lands. The ease at which he codes, never made us realise on how big a project we were working on.

His name is Vishwa Raju Bala Bhavan Ram Srinidhi. No! These are not different people - that's why we call him thambi dai. Thambi lives off a bag and is forever coding. He essentially codes for 3 hours in a day and the remaining 21 hours he devises mechanisms to reduce his own codes. He believes in getting great features done with minimal codes - if possible, without it also.

Doesn’t the smile say it all? She is the politically correct face of SPYKK. Rightly a psychology graduate, she specialises in democratic versions of unpleasant stuff and how to put them across in a pleasant way.

Founder of Foofys solutions, he consults with us on design thinking. Sources say, he is equipped with a grinder in his brains which grinds and churns ideas and separates fiction from ground reality. This brutally frank implementer survives on one roti a day, which at most times is stuffed in the front pocket of his laptop bag. When he is not thinking, he is design thinking.
